Photoelectric Properties of ZnO/Si and Ag Doped ZnO/Si Heterojunctions

A type of semiconductor heterojunctions was
fabricated by ZnO thin film layer deposited on Si substrate.
The elementary particles were examined by Energy Dispersive
X-rays (EDX). X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis was
described by structural properties of ZnO and Si layer. The
study of ZnO growth morphology on Si substrate was
determined by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Then,
the electrical and optical characteristics for ZnO-Si solar cell
was investigated. Thermally simulated current (TSC) and I-V
characteristics under different wavelengths in visible regions
were also studied. In this work, the ZnO-Si thin film layer was
indicated in photovoltaic effect. Moreover, studying silver
contact on ZnO-Si heterojunction was purposed for achieving
higher efficiency.

Structural and Optical properties of Magnesium Oxide Synthesized by Chemical Precipitation Method

Cubic shaped Magnesium oxide were successfully synthesized by Chemical Co-precipitation Method by using magnesium chloride hexahydrate and sodium hydroxide at room temperature. Hydrated magnesium oxide were calcinated at 500˚C and 600˚C. A systematic study of the crystallization behavior and structural properties of calcinated magnesium oxide nanopaticles were carried out by thermogravimetric analysis, x-ray diffraction and fourier transform inferred spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction patterns indicated that nanoparticles are good crystallinity, pure MgO phase with (2 0 0) orientation. From XRD results the temperature was gradually increase the crystallite size of MgO was increased. The FTIR results indicated the formation of magnesium oxide.

Basic approaches to radiation protection are consistent all over the world. The international commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) recommends that any exposure above the natural background radiation should be kept as low as reasonably achievable, but below the individual does limits. Several recent studies have indicated that mobile phones waves have an adverse health effect on cells or human beings. This paper analyzes the effect of electromagnetic (EM) radiation from mobile phone to human health. The electromagnetic radiation is measured in terms of specific absorption rate(SAR). The human health exposed to global system from mobile communication frequency bands.In addition, there are thousands of substances in our every day life beside radiation that can also cause cancer,including tobacco smoke,ultraviolet light, some medical dyes, fungal toxins in food, viruses, and even heat. Only in exceptional cases is it possible to identify conclusively the cause of a particular cancer.
