dc.description.abstract In a variety of Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks, the words syntactic categories or Part of Speech (POS) tagging is the necessary process for Myanmar to other languages machine translation system. Morphological analysis is the study of internal structure of the word. It is the basic step of POS tagging process. Morphological analysis retrieves the grammatical features such as POS and properties of a morphologically inflected word (formation of new word from combination of root word and inflected words). Morphological analyzer is processed using sequence labeling with support vector machine classification algorithm. It can be used in language analysis and machine translation systems and many other NLP application. This paper presents building Morphological analyzer for Myanmar language using support vector machine (SVM) with experimental results. en_US
