dc.description.abstract Scheduling is the most important in effective distribution of the resources. This paper presents a random search approach of genetic algorithm which is used to solve the packages to be allocated into varying size of multiple containers, which is a combinatorial optimization problem. The Genetic Algorithm (GA) search technique is applied to provide a solution for dynamically package assignment in container load distribution system. The solution is tested and evaluated using domain dataset used in the past from five star shipping containers Line. en_US
