dc.description.abstract Decision Support System (DSS) is an interactive software-based system intended to help decision makers compile useful information from raw data, documents, personal knowledge, and/or business models to identify and solve problems and make decisions. Decision Support System (DSS) is a subset of computer-based information systems (CBIS). Goal-seeking Analysis and what-if Analysis are the Decision Support System’s analytical modeling. Typically, the value of only one variable is changed repeatedly, and the resulting changes on other variables are observed. What-if analysis is a powerful tool for identifying and quantifying the impacts of inputs and system parameters on modeling results. Goal-seeking analysis is a reversed case of what – if analysis involving repeated changes to only one variable at a time. In this thesis, dyeing and printing works of fabrics is developed for decision support system to identity the alternative for production to forecast based on user’s constraints. en_US
