dc.description.abstract Association rule mining is finding frequent patterns, association, correlations among sets of items or object in transaction databases, relation databases, and other information repositories . Association rule mining increasingly becomes one of the most active research areas among data mining research community. In traditional association rule mining the based on Apriori-like algorithm, all frequent items sets are computed and strong association rules are then generated from the set of all frequent item sets as a next step. This paper describe an association rules mining system that makes uses of Prime Number Based Apriori Algorithm to find all frequent item sets and generate association rules. In this paper, the concept of prime number based representation techniques, how this representation works to find out all frequent items sets, and the implementation of association rules by using Prime Number Based Apriori Algorithm has been described. en_US
