dc.description.abstract Medical record security is essential when storing and sending over any untrusted medium and information system. Any hospitals need secured medical records of their patients in order to provide more efficient and through care of them. This paper approaches to implement secured patient records using Public-Key Cryptosystems. This is implemented by using combination of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Digital Signature Standard (DSS) to solve the confidentiality and medical record authentication with read/ write access control. This system is used to avoid that anyone can forge such a key announcement, and, to store and manage vast amounts of information. en_US
