dc.description.abstract Nowadays, XML plays an important role as a de facto standard online data exchange mechanism. In this paper, we present NFA-based filtering technique of XML document for multiple XPath queries using ontology. In our proposed system, the XPath queries are transformed into Nondeterministic Finite Automaton (NFA) - based model. The proposed system separates NFA into the structural NFA and value-based predicate NFA. In order to get the semantic adequacy of XPath queries into NFA form are transformed with the help of ontology which is to append into structural NFA. Incoming XML document is parsed by SAX parser. Then, matching XML document and NFA based user profiles. Therefore, the proposed method intends to provide not only exact matched information but also semantic matched information from XML documents. en_US
