dc.description.abstract Natural language translation is one of the most important researches carried out in the world of Artificial Intelligent. In any application where a computer has to process natural language, ambiguity is a problem. Many words have several meanings or senses. Meanings of word play important role in translation system. Ambiguity problem is one of these problems which have been a great challenge for Natural Language Processing (NLP.) In this paper, we propose Myanmar Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) algorithm based on mutual information. This MWSD system can solve the lexical semantic ambiguous (Noun, Verb, Adjective and Adverb) problems that are faced in Myanmar to English translation. This system can also provide the nearest English meaning of the Myanmar input words. en_US
