dc.description.abstract | Data security is the challenging issue in todays world that touches many areas using computer communication. Recent cyber security attacks have certainly played with the sentiments of the users [9]. Encryption is one of the ways to protect data from unauthorized access and is used in many fields such as medical science, military and diplomatic communication. To achieve data security, different cryptographic algorithms (symmetric and asymmetric) are used that jumbles data into scribbled format that can only be reversed by the user that has to decrypt key. This paper study on existing cryptographic algorithms and also gives the advantages and disadvantages of symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques. | en_US |
