Mobile Learning System on the Android Platform

Abstract

With the continuing growth of mobile devices outrun that of desktops and laptops, mobile devices have become the new personal computers. These devices have become increasingly sophisticated and extremely powerful in the last few years. Mobile hardware and software platforms allow running of faster and richer applications. Educational Technology is constantly evolving and growing. This progression will continually offer new and interesting advances in our learning environment. Traditional E-Learning systems developed for laptop and desktop computers were based on stand-alone software application or through websites.It lacks the ability to provide a comprehensive mobile learning environment. In this system, learners such as students are able to learn lecture resources at anywhere and anytime from their mobile devices. Our approach is easy to search and learn the special courses using the mobile learning application.
