Abstract:
Distributed system becomes more and
more essential in computing world. There are
many frames for performing distributed query
processing.In this proposed system, the mobile
agent technology is applied in query processing to
develop the latest and most advanced system in
computing trend. This system is based on
client/server approach for distributed query
processing using mobile agent technology and
intended to collect data from many distributed
computers in which data is stored in several sites
that are formed as the distributed manner.The
input query criteria is sent to respective
production server site to make the distributed
query for songs. Then the partial query results
that are replied from many production servers are
combined and reply to the user with the complete
result. The use of a relational query allows the
user to specify a description of the data that is
required without having to know where the data is
physically located.Query processing is an
important concern in the field of distributed
databases.
