dc.description.abstract With the rapid development particularly in online industry, the amount of the online users is also dramatically increased. To be reliable and secure on the user’s process, multi-agent systems have become an enormous and widespread methodology for understanding the user’s request and translate them for the other agents [5]. In this paper, the local trading-ship linkage system is proposed using agent technology. This system searches ship information by using Jaccard Coefficient Distance method. So any freighter seeker can get near optimal solution if the required information isn’t in the system. Any freighter seeker can search easily and continuously until getting the required information. By using this system, freighter seeker will decide what kinds of trading-ship are more suitable for their works. There are three agents, service agent and ship agent. This three agent’s work as experts cooperating and communicating to each other in the searching process. en_US
