dc.description.abstract Data mining is the process of analyzing data from different prespectives and summarizing it into useful information. Different applications often require the integration of application-specific methods. Classification is a data mining technique which addresses the problem of constructing a predictive model for a class attribute given the values of other attributes and some examples of records with known class. Decision tree are one of the most well-established classification methods. The system uses the methods of C4.5 decision tree to classify the stages of dental caries. The algorithm is used to produce the decision tree and generates the understandable rules. Depending on the input symptoms and signs, this system can give the classified disease and also provide the suggestion the treatment for the classified disease. en_US
