dc.description.abstract Case-Base Reasoning (CBR) system is an artificial intelligent approach to learning and problem solving based on last experiences. The knowledge of case adaption is used to guide the retrieval process. Possible adaption strategies for modifying candidate cases are identified and then evaluated. Case and adaption strategy combinations that results in adapted designs that best satisfy the preferences of the designer are used as the final design solutions. Case-based Reasoning methods have to deal with are to identify the current problem situation, find a past case similar to the new one, use that case to suggest a solution to the current problem, evaluate the proposed solution. In this paper, we explained case-based reasoning (CBR) is considered with established method for building car fault diagnosis systems. en_US
