Abstract:
We propose a statistical estimation framework to assess
energy saving effectiveness of the sensor nodes which
have been deployed in a rough physical environment and
consisted in a wireless sensor network by use of the
Bayesian maximum likelihood estimation procedure.
Accordingly, we formulate Bayesian maximum likelihood
estimation framework for the system energy saving
effectiveness of sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network
using non-informative prior information about means of
active and sleep times based on time frames of sensor
nodes under the T-MAC which is known as most energy
efficient CSMA contention-based MAC protocols.
