Abstract:
Opinion reviews on products are used by
potential customers before deciding to purchase
a product. Large volumes of reviews are posted
to the Internet and detection of fake reviews is
now a challenging research problem. Opinion
spam or trustworthiness of online opinions is an
important issue and this issue has been
neglected so far. To the best of our knowledge,
there is not many published study on this topic,
although Web spam and email spam have been
investigated extensively. This paper is presented
spammer detection techniques that define the
spammer score on rating behaviors of the
reviewer. The experiment showed that the
presented technique has comparatively effective
spammer detection than other techniques based
on rating behaviors.
