dc.description.abstract The popularity of social media applications has rapidly increased over the past few years. Most people use social media applications for sharing data, chatting with friends, group conversations, uploading photos and media. Nowadays, mobile smartphones are more facilitate to access social media application services than other devices. So, the analysis of social media applications is one of the most important things in mobile device forensics. In this paper, we extract the interested artifacts data in popular social media applications such as Internet Browser, Chrome, Viber, Facebook Messenger and Gmail. The result of artifacts data may be valuable and potential evidence data in crime investigation process. The analysis process mainly uses Opensource Tools, Android Debug Bridge (ADB) Utility, Freeware Tools and our proposed Androsics Tool. en_US
