dc.description.abstract In recent years, as the global digital game market has been expanding, game localization has become an important stage of game development and production process. Culturalization is a more meaningful level of game localization in which game designers take into account using the appropriate cultural context and contents of a specific cultural society. In this report, we reviewed the literature about the importance of digital game localization and culturalization in the game development process. We highlighted the research gaps about the impacts of cultural context and contents in digital game-based exercises on older adults, followed by the development of a conceptual model. Then, we stated our research objectives, followed by research design, data collection tools, and research activities for the future study. The discussion in this report can highlight insights for designers, practitioners, and researchers into using appropriate cultural context and contents in digital game-based exercises for older adults. en_US
