Abstract:
Tourism Industry is a dynamic and competitive
business sector that requires updating information
continuously to meet customers’ satisfaction.
In addition, the industry plays a vital role for the economic
growth of the country which demands the
comprehensive local travel information. Therefore,
construction of Myanmar travel domain is important
as it is enrich with ancient heritage and known for
many natural tourist destinations. This paper proposes
a crowd sourced method of creating an ontology
which supports useful information retrieval together
with review opinions by applying opinion mining
approach. The main contribution of this paper is designing
an ontology based on locations by accessing
valuable information and opinions. In addition, we
introduce opinion mining approach for analyzing
users’ opinions which can be used for refining ontology.
Finally, we propose and implement the ontology
based opinion mining with crowdsourcing approach
while constructing the Myanmar travel domain.
