Construction of Knowledge Base and Review Opinion Mining: Crowdsourcing Approach

Abstract

This system proposes a framework for knowledge base construction by using crowdsourcing approach. The travel related information is stored in knowledgebase by crowd of people via internet. The system creates domain ontology presenting travel information support system which includes linked data between tourist destinations and its attractions, e hotels, transportation, food and others. As an example scenario, when a user who does not know about Myanmar, searches a local tourist destination, the system retrieves related linked data. Many people from the crowd enter review comments which have been carried out review identification and store in review database. After that, opinion mining is applied for processing review identification to produce travel opinion information to be updated in the ontology. By using this system, user gets useful travel related information and recommendations which has been contributed by many people from different perspectives. The system introduces a method developing the domain ontology and opinion mining with the help of crowd of people in order to support information for travelers.
