Mobile Web Service for Disaster Information using JSON

Abstract

Recent advances in web and mobile computing technologies provide users with a vast amount of information and services such as online news, weather forecasting news, shopping, banking, music, movies, and online games. The number of mobile users in our country also increased more and more before. On the other hand, the threats of disasters in our world become more and more. Therefore, mobile web service is an effective technique for supporting users’ requirements. Our mobile web service is proposed for publishing and noticing disaster information to public easily and fast. Our proposed system is applied JSON web service. Our mobile web service is intended for android mobile devices because android get the most proportion of mobile market.
