dc.description.abstract Steganography is the method of communicating secrete information hidden in the cover object, that may be text, image, audio, video, and protocol for the purpose of hidden the existence of secret messages. In this proposed system, cover object is image because it is the most popular carrier on the Internet. In this system, it has contain four parts: first, the input message is resized using message conversion algorithm, in second, the message is compressed based on the index-based compression algorithm, in third, the compress message is encrypted by using random-based transposition cipher for message encryption and finally, the cipher text message is hidden in blue channel of LSB of cover image. This system provides sufficient complexity and only key are required for embedding process, but not for encryption. en_US
