<title>Apache Kafka: A High-Throughput Distributed Messaging System</title>
<link>https://onlineresource.ucsy.edu.mm/handle/123456789/2371</link>
<description>Apache Kafka: A High-Throughput Distributed Messaging System
Thein, Khin Me Me; Nyunt, Thi Thi Soe
Apache Kafka is publish-subscribe messaging implemented as a distributed commit log, suitable for both offline and online message consumption. It is a messaging system initially developed at LinkedIn for collecting and delivering high volumes of event and log data with low latency. Message publishing is a mechanism for connecting various applications with the help of messages that are routed between them, for example, by a message broker such as Kafka. It acts as a kind of write-ahead log that records messages to a persistent store and allows subscribers to read and apply these changes to their own stores in a system appropriate time-frame. Common subscribers include live services that do message aggregation or other processing streams, as well as Hadoop and data warehousing pipelines which load virtually all feeds for batch-oriented processing.

<title>User Session based Test Cases Prioritization for Web Applications Testing</title>
<link>https://onlineresource.ucsy.edu.mm/handle/123456789/2358</link>
<description>User Session based Test Cases Prioritization for Web Applications Testing
Maung, Hsu Mon; Win, Kay Thi
Nowadays, web application is crucial for most&#13;
daily activities that rely on the web services. To&#13;
improve the quality of reliable web services, web&#13;
application testing has been used in finding faults&#13;
under test. User session based testing is one approach&#13;
to create test cases with real user data that are&#13;
collected from daily user logs. The main considerable&#13;
problem is how to reduce the cost of web application&#13;
testing in time without service interruption. However,&#13;
real user data is reduced as the test cases, all the&#13;
reduced test cases cannot be executed completely&#13;
under time constraints in practice. In this paper, the&#13;
test cases prioritization criterion is proposed to&#13;
schedule the test cases in order to improve the rate of&#13;
fault detection. This criterion is based on two factors,&#13;
frequency of sequences and dependent count of web&#13;
pages. Most current techniques use a random method&#13;
to prioritize test cases when they have the same&#13;
priority. The proposed prioritization method considers&#13;
this fact that there are multiple test cases with the same&#13;
priority.

<title>Tracking the Human Motion from Multiple Video Images</title>
<link>https://onlineresource.ucsy.edu.mm/handle/123456789/2357</link>
<description>Tracking the Human Motion from Multiple Video Images
Htun, Baby; Sein, Myint Myint
Object motion and human motion tracking is&#13;
an important technique used in many systems,&#13;
especially in the fields of computer vision. An&#13;
automatic motion tracking and catching system is&#13;
developed in this research. It can be used to entrap&#13;
snatchers for shopping mall, office, housing, corridors,&#13;
borders, secured buildings, at airport and so on. The&#13;
multiple perspective imagery is applied to track the&#13;
desired people successfully. It needs to establish the&#13;
perspective Gaussian Mixture Model and Particle&#13;
Filter calculation correspondence among the multiple&#13;
cameras. At once a man pass and is marked or chosen&#13;
to track any view of camera which is implemented, the&#13;
system will track the motion of this subject and as well&#13;
as the other cameras will track him. In this paper, we&#13;
can track and recognize the subject we desire.

<title>Testing Speech to Text Application on Android Platform</title>
<link>https://onlineresource.ucsy.edu.mm/handle/123456789/2356</link>
<description>Testing Speech to Text Application on Android Platform
Myint, Theint Zarni
Speech recognition reduces the overhead caused&#13;
by alternate communication methods. Speech has not&#13;
been used much in the field of electronics and&#13;
computers due to the complexity and variety of&#13;
speech signals and sounds. However, with modern&#13;
processes, algorithms, and methods we can process&#13;
speech signals easily and recognize the text. In this&#13;
paper, we are going to develop an on-line speech-totext engine. The system acquires speech at run time&#13;
through a microphone and processes the sampled&#13;
speech to recognize the uttered text. An application&#13;
like voice search is developed in this work that&#13;
allows a user to record and convert spoken input&#13;
into Bing Search Engine that will be search the user’s&#13;
data. This application will find the famous places in&#13;
Myanmar. Speech recognition is done via the Internet,&#13;
connecting to Google’s server. The application is&#13;
adapted to input messages in English. Speech&#13;
recognition for Voice uses a technique based on&#13;
Hidden Markov Model (HMM). It is currently the most&#13;
successful and most flexible approach to speech&#13;
recognition.
