dc.description.abstract Decision-making is the process of identifying and selecting from among possible solutions to a problem according to the demands of the situation. When considerable matters are ambiguous, people are difficult to decide. Thus, scientific methods were emerged to solve these problems. There are many ways to work on scientific methods sucha s ant colonies, simulated annealing, Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Analytic Process (AHP) is a scientific method which was developed by Thomas Saaty. AHP provides a proven, effective means to deal with comlex decision making and can assist with identifying and weighting selection criteria and analyzing the data collected for the criteria and analyzing the data collected for the criteria. In this study, it is applied the AHP method as a solution for a job selection system. The system uses a simpler weighting approach to calculate pair-wise comparisons, priority vector. Finally, system proceeds to calculate the global values and makes the overall ranking on these global values to suggest the best job under the user’s consideration. en_US
