dc.description.abstract With the widespread use of the Internet, electronic commerce (e commerce) becomes very popular and one of the most important fields. In today's fast-changing era, it is extremely important to be able to respond to the needs of customers or buyers in the most effective and timely manner. So, most business websites make it easy to help both the customer needs and business requirements. This system is implemented as a shopping assistant system for searching laptop computers matched with user preferences in a variety of several alternatives from seventeen computer shops. An attractive theoretical additive utility function of Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) is used in order to evaluate which laptop(s) performs best match with user preferences. en_US
