Everyday a large number of human lives and
properties are lost due to emergency events. When
emergency case happened, there are some problems
that not only the delay in calling the emergency
service teams to get the needed services but also the
difficulty that to know about the incident site and to
obtain its exact location. It is a real challenge to
report to the rescue teams and to get the rapid
response in time. When the emergency event
occurred, it is extremely important to reach the
emergency vehicles to incident site as fast as
possible. To get the required emergency services, the
optimal route is essential needed to know. So, we
develop GIS based effective emergency response
system to provide emergency services. The proposed
system is intended to verify the incident location in
short time, to find the nearest emergency services and
to calculate the optimal route to go the incident site.
The proposed work also considers the traffic
congestion based on Modified Dijkstra’s Algorithm. |
